Ella Cranmer is doing an PhD researching and developing a business model for implementing Augmented Reality in Urban Cultural Heritage Tourism. Her background is in business and tourism, with a first class degree in Tourism Management from the Manchester Metropolitan University, winning ‘Best Student 2013’ and recognition from the ‘Association for Tourism in Higher Education’ for her achievements. Since graduating, her work as a Research Assistant for the university fuelled her interest in AR, leading to her current involvement in the Google Glass AR project in Manchester.
